The Titans of Prophecy campaign began at the beginning of 2015 and was the first major Dungeons & Dragons campaign run by Asher Winnie. Sessions were held bi-weekly in the Pittsburgh-based store Game Masters for over two years, and introduced myself and several others to what would become a favorite and even life-changing hobby. Although many of us grew apart in the years following the conclusion of the Titans of Prophecy, this campaign has remained a defining moment in our lives. I personally began running my own campaign in the autumn of 2018, inspired by ongoing games with Asher Winnie.
This website serves, firstly, to preserve the memory of the Titans of Prophecy campaign by presenting the original campaign diaries written by Asher Winnie, summarizing each session. For those of us who came every week, playing in the magical world of Eberron and enjoying Asher’s adventure, reading through these stories is like connecting to those formative moments in childhood. Role-playing games often serve as a personal myth-building exercise for groups of friends, and the same can be said for us. I have begun editing the original campaign diaries for clarity, which will always be available collapsed at the bottom of each page.
As I have been editing these campaign diaries, I have also been slowly integrating the Titans of Prophecy characters and plot into my own original campaign setting: Salreon. In doing so, I will be including a second collapsed section on each page with this content—for those who are interested.
Thank you for taking the time to explore the Titans of Prophecy website, and I hope you can get a fraction of the joy out of reading these stories as we got playing through them years ago.
